Updating positions in a performance review process

Modified on Fri, 29 Sep, 2023 at 11:49 AM

The position of an employee may change with time. However, it's not possible to make this change inside of a performance review process; you got to do it from the masterlist. If you want to know more about updating a participant's information in a process, please check this article

When it comes to updating the position of a participant, there are certain rules associated to this change that will determine if the new position of the participant will be reflected in the process or if it will stay the same, regardless of having a different position in the masterlist. These rules depend on the status of the process at the time of making the change in the masterlist.

Processes in Review, Goal Setting, Inactive, Deactivated or In Feedback status

  • When updating a position in the masterlist, the change will automatically reflect on the process.

Processes in Access to Results status

  • When updating a position in the masterlist, the position won't be updated in the process. This will ensure that the assessment done to the participant is a true reflection of the position that they had when the process was executed.
